Vital Tips in Finding Your Passion
Some people take a lifetime in realizing what they really want to do and where they want to take their journey. It will be best if you will know the essentials in finding your passion while you are still young. This way, you will have lots of time to fulfill whatever you want to achieve and enjoy its effects and benefits as well.
It is not that easy to know what you really want to do for the rest of your life. There are people who end up pursuing a very unlikely route while giving in to what they really want to achieve whenever they have time for it. The reason for such varies. For some, they want to pursue their passion only after they have gone through several failures.
To help you in this regard, here are some tips that you can follow.
1. You should look at things around you. Determine what or who inspire you to achieve whatever goals that you have in mind. They can be your loved ones or a specific person that encourages you to be better. These can also be things. What are the objects that create some sparks and enhance you to move forward? Use these objects and people in order to find out for yourself what you really want to happen. You can list down the things and people or places that may come to your mind when you are thinking about this so that you will keep track of what really matters to you.
2. Think about happy thoughts. Reminisce about the times when you were most happy in your life. What brought about such happiness? What made you happy? And while you are at it, you should also think about when was the last time when you experienced such moment. If it has already been a long time, what do you think caused such state?
3. You have to go back to the things that ignited your passion in the past. Read your favorite book. This may be a great time to find console digging through self-help books. This is especially true if you cannot talk to anyone close to you regarding the matter in ways that you hope to be understood.
4. If you are stuck in a job that you detest and your only reason why you are doing that is for money, then you will have a harder time in getting to know where your real passion lies. You may want to look back at the point before you entered this job. What were you back then or what were you thinking to achieve at that point? If you have already saved enough, you may want to consider quitting your current job. This way, you can allot more time in pursuing the things that you really want before it is already too late.
5. You have to be open to whatever possibilities life may bring. You need to expect more than what you already have for you to acquire such and reach a level beyond your comfort zone. This can be done by being bold enough to take a risk at a time. It doesn’t matter how small or how big it is. Once you start following your heart and mind to reach to the point where you think you will be happy and satisfied, you are on the right track. And finding your passion will be easier in the long run.
How can a life coach help you?
The first indication you might need help is if your life is not producing the desired outcomes you want. There are signs all around you telling you something is wrong. Usually it begins with your inner monologue. Humans have an uncanny ability to create thought patterns which are self-defeating. When things are not going well in our external environment, it is turned internally as a repetitive voice for failure. These thoughts become validated when something else goes wrong. At some point in the pattern, giving up hope seems a viable option. This is when you call for a little help. When you can recognize you can’t do it alone.
A life coach restores hope with learning tools and resources you may have never considered. The defining ability a life coach offers for personal development is an optimal support system. Having someone to guide you back into the right lane can be a saving grace in your life.
Another reason to have a life coach is help you do a self-inventory. A life coach can sit down with you and identify problem areas in your life. They have the professional qualifications to assist in developing a realistic plan for your personal development. It is with encouragement and a total dissection of every part of your world a life coach makes impact.
Over time our behaviors become learned and some behaviors need to be unlearned. Especially behaviors which have scooted our lives into wrong directions. Sometimes we are not aware of the self-defeating behaviors which hinder our personal growth. A life coach knows techniques for positive reinforcement in learned processes. They help you with a self-assessment and follow up with a self-help plan. Every life coach has different approaches to their instructions. Some life coaches focus on certain areas, such as business coaching or financial plans. There are others who help you to find your life purpose or spiritual destiny.
It is okay to reach out for help when you find yourself lost in the tides. The first step is acknowledging the need. The second step you must take is to find a life coach who is applicable to your individual situation. You must keep seeking avenues for personal development. Your mind and your life patterns should always be renewed. Learning new ways of doing things, or new ways to think about yourself is essential for personal growth. A life coach can throw you a lifeline. Better yet, a life coach can restore a vital part of yourself you forgot all about through your strife…a vision for your life.

Self hypnosis and its benefits

Moving Past Fear
There are times when simply thinking positively won’t move you past your fear and anxiety. There are times when simply plodding it out is the thing you must do.
One of my new moto’s in life is “If you’re afraid to do it, just DO IT AFRAID.” No one will blame you for being fearful—what you will be blamed for is letting that fear immobilize you. So no matter what it takes, keep moving.
Fear is much like a quagmire—it slurps at our feet and if we stand still long enough, it begins to suck us down. It’s hard to get out of, but it is possible.
If you’re stuck in fear as you shoot for success, there are several ways out:
- First, consider the source. Where did the fear come from? Have you been dwelling on the difficulties instead of the opportunities? Have you been listening to those who are cynics and pessimists, instead of coaching yourself with positive words and people? If so, MOVE ON. GET AWAY from people and situations that drag you down.
- Second, take your checklist and note what you HAVE accomplished. Look at your list of goals and the baby steps you’re taking to get there, and on a separate sheet of paper (or a separate document in your computer), begin to list everything you have accomplished. This will begin to empower you to move on and leave the fear behind.
- Third, take stock of your talents and skills. Fear often tells us that we “don’t have what it takes…” Show fear as the liar it is: list your skills, all your positive attributes. Then look at the problem again, after you have a new appreciation for your God-given talents and abilities
- Fourth, don’t underestimate the power of your thoughts. Regardless of your spiritual beliefs, there is an amazing power that comes from releasing your fear to a inner self Who loves you and is looking out for you. Don’t bottle the fear up—let it go. You don’t need it anyhow!
Finally, remember this acronym when facing fear:
- F= False
- E= Evidence
- A=Appearing
- R=Real
The Courage to Say Yes
In a culture full of reasons to say “no,” it takes a lot of courage to find ways to say “yes.”
We’re taught to say “no” from a very young age, after all. For most of us, our first word was “no”, and it quickly became our favorite word. As toddlers and teenagers, we used “no” to
differentiate ourselves from our parents, peers, and surroundings. It’s how we began to control what was happening around us, or at least, how we tried to control that. It helped us over those early developmental hurdles, and gave us our earliest sense of our personal boundaries — and that’s a lot of significance bound up in such a tiny word!
The problem isn’t that “no” in and of itself is somehow bad; indeed, giving yourself permission to say “no” as an adult can keep you out of an awful lot of trouble.
The problem is that “No” begins to take on a life of its own. Too often, that life is yours.
Life is change, and “no” becomes a way of slowing down that change, or trying to stop it altogether. It is a shield we use to protect ourselves from having to experience anything new or different. Rather than riding the wave of change into a life full of exhilarating possibilities, we use “no” as a tether to keep us safely confined to the kiddie pool.
Using “no” to protect ourselves from change is like a kitten poking its head under covers, assuming it’s completely hidden. Change is going to happen, whether you say “no” to it or not. And, just like that kitten, assuming that “no” protects you from change is one sure way to have it pounce on you and bite your tail.
Let’s be honest here: We usually say “no” out of fear, and some fears are entirely reasonable. It’s sensible to say “no” to jumping off a bridge or “no” to cake if you are diabetic. These “no’s” aren’t the ones that keep us from living lives of incredible satisfaction and happiness. It’s those silly, neurotic fears like fearing rejection, or of looking stupid, or being wrong. It’s the fear of commitment, the fear of speaking out, and the fear of facing our truest, deepest desires. The list is nauseatingly long, and we’ve all bought into some of these at least once. These fears have shaped our lives, often to our detriment and sometimes to the detriment of those around us.
So the next time you’re faced with something new and exciting and all those little neurotic fears start rioting inside you, what does it take to fight down a “no” and say “yes” instead?
In a word: Courage.
Like the Cowardly Lion (an archetype for the fear-ridden) we need to find our courage. Unlike him, we know that we have to face our fears, and find our courage within. Inside each of us beats a brave, fiercely courageous heart, willing to take on a challenge if it means that life afterward will be more authentic, happier, and freer. What better challenges to tackle than the fears that keep us chained to our tiny, boring, closeted little lives?
Do yourself a favor: Right now, identify and tackle at least one of those inner fears. Find a reason to say “yes” today, and every day. You’ve only your inner coward to lose!

Surround Yourself With Positive People To Help You Achieve your Goals
You sow, you reap but really this is LIFE.
It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.
If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart.
If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.
This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life; Life will give you back everything you have given to it.”
We’ve all heard that saying… “You are what you eat”… well, the same applies to the mind…. “You are what you continually think about”… (think about that for a moment or two).
Everything you allow into your mind, positively or negatively, will affect your actions. You are “what you think” you are!
People, can have the strongest affect on our lives. I believe that you become, the people, you hang out with. The people you associate with and share ideas with have a major influence on how you choose to act upon or not act upon your dreams.
Haven’t you ever been around a positively charged person who electrifies you and everyone around you?
They say… “Confidence is contagious” and so is the lack of confidence. We must demand more of ourselves and the people we choose to spend our precious time with.
Always surround yourself with positive “can do” people. If you can’t find anyone like this, then simply immerse yourself into positive books, magazines, tapes and eventually you will attract positive people automatically.
At first it may be difficult, all good things are, and by the way, remember that everyone has problems on some level or another… it’s how you choose to react that makes the difference in the quality of your life.
We must discipline ourselves to remove the negative people in our lives. Often we fail to realize how influenced we are by the people we work with, socialize with and spend time with.
The solution to this is quite simple:… “Surround yourself with the kinds of people you want to be like !!!!”
Psychologists have proven that “habitual association” with critical complaining people can be enough to sabotage all your opportunities for success.
So, you can begin to change your environment by thinking about those people you’d like to be like. Whether these people are alive or from the past… think about the qualities you respect in them and focus on modeling them.
Do all you can do to seek out those individuals who are going somewhere with their lives.
Read all you can about them and learn to identify with them mentally.
As you begin this wonderful journey of positive ness, you’ll find that the negative people in your life will go away and you will attract other winners!
So, from this point on, once you associate with positive people you’ll begin your journey towards peace and fulfillment. Every positive action you take towards your goals and dreams will reinforce your capability to accomplish your ideals.
Never lose sight of your dreams … it’s totally up to you to remind yourself everyday of the rewards you will reap as you achieve your goals.
Sow it!!!…Reap it!!!!!!!
Your Life Is What You Make Of It
This article describes how your life is what you make of it. If you are willing to work hard to reach your ambitions and goals, there is no reason why should not attain them. In my opinion far too many people try to take short cuts or are too willing to expect free hand outs from other people or have the credit card attitude of buy now, pay later. I hope you enjoy the read.
One of my best friends whose name is Chris turned seventeen around a month before I did. For his birthday his father bought him a very nice and sporty looking car. Chris was very pleased and showed his new present to all his mates including myself. He was unable to take us out for a spin as he had yet to learn to drive. I thought what a great gift it had been and returned home to tell my parents.
I now had it in my head, that I also wanted a car for my birthday. Chris only lived a few doors away from my house and my parents looked out of the window to view his new car. I stated to them that I would love a car for my seventeenth and my parents started to laugh and replied with, I bet you would.
Despite this negative comment, I really believed they were only joking and was convinced that they would not let me down. My birthday arrived and I opened all of their gifts. The main present they had bought me was a pair of trainers. I have to admit they were a quality pair of trainers, however I wondered where they had hidden the car. The car was not hidden, it had not been bought.
An ungrateful young man went to bed, not best pleased. I then started to take driving lessons and on the second attempt managed to pass the driving test. I came home to inform my parents of the good news. My dad congratulated me and seemed proud of my achievement. I stated that I was also very happy, however in reality, what was the point if I had no car to drive. My father did not reply to this comment.
A couple of months later my eighteenth birthday was now approaching. My father told me that because this was quite a big birthday, he was planning to spend a bit more money on my presents this year. He asked me if I had any idea of what I would like. For the second year in a row, I replied that I would love a car. Yet again he laughed and stated that he had said a bit more, not hundreds.
I really believed that because it was in his words, a big birthday, and because I was now legally able to drive, that he would buy me a car. Guess what, he didn’t. Yet again I was not impressed.
I waited a couple of months and then tried the head on approach. I spoke to my parents and told them that I needed a car, they agreed. My dad stated that if I wanted a car, I should go and buy one. I replied that I had no money, and he stated that I should start to save up then.
I started to save and had to sacrifice many things. Eventually I bought a car. It was not exactly sporty but it was my pride and joy. I washed the car every weekend and am sure that I loved it ten times more than Chris loved his car, because I had earned it.
Whenever I want to achieve something in life, I am aware that I have to work very hard and am very grateful to the lesson my parents taught me, even though at the time it seemed harsh and cruel.
